About Me
Hi! I have over ten years experience as an elementary librarian. I’ve taught in elementary, high school, and the public library. Everything I share are things that I have tried that are successful with students and focus on what is important: reading. I’ve taught all class lengths levels: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and an hour and know what it takes to be successful for each lesson.
I believe in read alouds for all ages. No matter how long your library class, you have time for a read aloud, related activity focusing on a library skill, and check out time. That’s what all my lessons focus on.
